The gang at Blakeney Communications world headquarters is writing a new chapter in its history with the acquisition of its fourth station.

The last few days have been hectic — between my work in TV (new set and 9/11 anniversary coverage), hosting Saturday’s benefit concert and such.

Finally, our new set debuts.

Final score on the board read 55 for the Southern Miss Eagles and 7 for the Jackson State Tigers. Great game and, with an in-state opponent, well-attended. Traffic was hell on earth — again, given the in-state opponent. At least we’ll all have an idea of what to expect if Ole Miss or Mississippi State …
