…that I nearly gave it all up on, of all days, Valentine’s Day of last year. I can still remember how terrible it was. As I was still trying to rebound from a break-up about two months prior, four co-workers talked about engagements. If they represented four weddings, I represented the funeral.

That’s something my brother Geof’s reminded all of us to do in his weekly column for USCHO.com.

Don’t ya just hate those telemarketing calls? With plans for a national do-not-call-me-or-else-you’re-gonna-pay-through-the-nose registry in the work, such calls seem to come fast and furious.

OK, so that’s an illegal word in Lingo, but still, I’m hating this cold weather.

Just been fighting the crud for the last several days. I’m starting to feel better — thankfully! A good number of folks at the TV station have it worse — the boss man included. Hope Randy feels better — and soon!

And what a year it’s been.

A year ago this week, an internet friend passed away after a battle with cancer.

One of my internet friends dreaded it. Another friend said there was “nothing to it”. Miss Circle’s been there and done that on, of all days, April Fool’s Day of this year.

I talked to her briefly just a few minutes ago. She sounded groggy — but that’s to be expected.
