That’s what I witnessed on the side road on the way to work this morning. Someone trying to tell me something?

It’s amazing how this is all working out.

Thursday 10/17: Leave for Laurel, have lunch with grandparents, go to radio stations, chat with them about this ‘n’ that, go to fair, greet many folks, break tie in Spam cookoff (the lunch meat, not the useless e-mail), go back to grandparents’ home, go to sleep.

Where’s the road show going to? Baton Rouge, Louisiana? Nope. Truth or Consequences, New Mexico? Maybe another year. Dedeo, Guam? That defeats the purpose of a *road* show.

South Florida 16, Southern Miss 13. 🙁

It’s been a while since I’ve done one of these — mainly because I’ve been out of gas mentally on a Friday and the last thing I want to do is write something.

…and once again, South Mississippi is spared. Reportedly, no deaths here or Louisiana. But the Pelican state got much more damage. Our thoughts and prayers are with those in Louisiana.

Lots of rain and, thankfully, minimal damage after Isidore comes and goes.

We’re going to see some side effects from Isidore. Looks like the storm will make its presence known over the next several days. So, with professional responsibility in broadcasting increasing, Doug’s Place will be closed ’til further notice.
