It’s amazing how this is all working out.
The other day, Miss Circle asked if I knew Sonny Renfroe. Yes! Sonny was a guidance counselor at Forest High School and is in a similar position at William Carey College in Hattiesburg. Got to visit him for a little bit yesterday.
We also visited Jeanna Graves, my contact with Carey’s theater department. Meant to stop by Tim Glaze’s place at the Baptist Student Union — but dinner called (Tim was also BSU director at East Central Community College).
Miss Circle cooked up lots of chili — and didn’t feel like shelving leftovers. So, that was our din-din last night. Then, off to church at The Summit — and then back to our respective homes. We don’t have any definitive weekend plans yet. Looks like rain — so we might either watch football Saturday or check out a movie.
Nope, ain’t touchin’ the Friday Five. It’s all about Halloween and I haven’t been in a “trick or treat” mood in forever. I’d much rather spend October 31 celebrating 10 years in broadcasting — but that’s another entry for another day.
Mom and I appreciated your phonecall yesterday.
Mom and I will probably do some shoping and watch Tennessee vs Alabama. MSU is playing OSU and may have chance to not loose.
