Pardon the dust. Doug Morris dot org’s back after being offline due to a server crash. I’m working on a few things to spruce this back up to some sort of normalcy. So, as we say in the broadcast biz, “Please stand by.” Major thanks to Geof and Indigo for their help.

Kudos to my colleagues at B95 and KZ94.3 for deleting the Dixie Chicks from their playlists — at least for the timebeing — given recent insensitive remarks by one of the bands members.

Great time was had in Huntsvegas.

A week from today, I’ll be in Huntsville.

…that I nearly gave it all up on, of all days, Valentine’s Day of last year. I can still remember how terrible it was. As I was still trying to rebound from a break-up about two months prior, four co-workers talked about engagements. If they represented four weddings, I represented the funeral.

That’s something my brother Geof’s reminded all of us to do in his weekly column for USCHO.com.

Don’t ya just hate those telemarketing calls? With plans for a national do-not-call-me-or-else-you’re-gonna-pay-through-the-nose registry in the work, such calls seem to come fast and furious.

OK, so that’s an illegal word in Lingo, but still, I’m hating this cold weather.
