I’ve been on a steady diet of crow since openly rooting for Philadelphia in the Super Bowl. I picked the Eagles to win by a touchdown. Instead, for the third time in four years, the Patriots win the big game.
If I’m Adam Vinatieri’s agent, I’d say let’s renegotiate the contract for more money. True, this time, he didn’t have to try and beat the clock to win it. But the final margin of victory was 3 points. So, had he missed his FG attempt, the game would end in overtime.
Anyway, congrats to the Pats. Now, per the NFL Network’s humorous TV ad (one of the best, for my money), everyone’s undefeated. Even the Ain’ts!
