Saturday’s wedding was the best one I’ve attended this year.
Um… of course… that would be the only wedding I’ve been to so far this year. But still, an excellent service.
After Scott and Sharon exchanged their vows, they washed their feet. But, for me, the highlight was the happy couple and Sharon’s two kids, Clint and Christiana (from a previous marriage, if your keeping score), all lighting candles and then taking them to light up one “central” candle.
The highlight at the reception for me can be summed up in four words: “I caught the garter”.
-chuckle- Heh. There’s a lesson to be noted here: Doug catches it, and I always run away from it … 🙂
I get to be in two weddings next summer. Neither are mine. I’ll probably run both times.
