It’s nice to be getting back to some sort of normalcy (or “normality”, depending on how you view it all).
Work’s going well — at both places. And it’s great returning to my mid-week evening routine with churches in the area. After all, when you’re hosting multi-hour Sunday radio shows like I’ve had for 11 years now (WOW!), that leaves little to no time for traditional worship.
This weekend, Cindy and I will meet up with Angel Lewis and her hubby-to-be (apologies to all involved…as I can’t think of his name to save my bacon!) at a dance Parkway Heights UMC’s singles groups hosts monthly.
My latest bookmark add is Peggy Phillip-dot-com — the official website/blog of the news director for WMC-TV in Memphis. Just like WDAM, WMC is an NBC station owned by Raycom Media. With travels taking me twice to Memphis in ’03, there’s been the intent to just drop by WMC and say hello to fellow Raycom co-workers (same could be said with travels to Hunstville and Cleveland, other cities where Raycom has claim to broadcast property).
Trust me, I’ve been kicking myself for not making time to make such visits. At least it’s nice to get an inside look at the best darn TV news product in the Memphis area (and that’s not me saying that…it’s the ratings!) through the eyes of its leader via her site.
Glad to see you are up and posting again. I look for posts on your page almost every day.
